Thread M3x6<\/strong> bolts into the bottoms of the posts. \u00a0Note: When stacking trays, the lower trays will have five<\/strong> tall posts and one<\/strong> GPU support post, while the upper\/stock tray will have three<\/strong> posts and two<\/strong> GPU support posts.<\/p>\n

Attach one tall\/back post to each of the short beams, by sliding the head of the bolt into the top groove of the beam. \u00a0Note how the bolt is tightened by inserting the wrench through<\/strong> the wrench access hole and how the access hole at the bottom of\u00a0the post is not visible.<\/p>\n

Insert 4\u00a0<\/em>hex<\/strong> M3 nuts into the top grooves of the right-hand<\/em> short beam (the “right-hand” side of the tray is the furthest from where the PSUs are mounted) and 3<\/em> hex<\/strong> M3 nuts into the top grooves of the middle<\/em> and left-hand<\/em> short beams.<\/p>\n

Attach the other posts to the beams.
\nNote:that a bottom tray will have 5 tall and 1 short post. \u00a0While a top tray will have 3 tall and 2 short posts .<\/p>\n

Using M3x20mm bolts (and a washer) attach the back long beam to the beam & post sub-assemblies (via the hex nuts inserted above). \u00a0Note: Attach the long beams with the holes for the standoffs visible from the top) and press the beam against the\u00a0back posts.<\/p>\n

Attach the other post & beam subassembly.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Attach the front \u00a0and middle beams.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Attach the smallest beam.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The spacing of the long support beams is\u00a073mm and ~204\/205mm:<\/p>\n

Re-enforce the connections of the posts to the tray by securing them to the motherboard support beams via M3x20mm bolts, washer and hex nuts.<\/p>\n

Note that the area where the PSUs are mounted requires inserting two hex<\/strong> nuts into the side of the motherboard support beam prior<\/strong> to re-enforcing the corner post.<\/p>\n

Using M3x6 bolts and M3 hex\u00a0nuts, attach the 4 small rubber bumpers (feet) to the bottom of the tray.<\/p>\n

Using M3x20m bolts, loosely attach the 9 motherboard spacers to the tray (tighten after attaching the motherboard)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Using 2x M3x20mm bolts, washers and hex\u00a0nuts, attach the front GPU support beam to the front posts.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

Slide a M3 square nut into the milled expansion card support beam, aligning it with the thru-hole.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Carefully flip the beam over and with a M3x6 bolt attach the small 90-degree angle bracket to the beam.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Insert 13x M3 square nuts into the support beam.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Align the last\/13th nut with the thru-hole and attach the second 90-degree angle bracket.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Attach the support beam to the inside slots of the posts.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Using M3x8 bolts, washers and hex\u00a0nuts, attach the 6 plastic PSU tabs to the 3 short PSU support beams. \u00a0The PSU support beams are attached to the tray with\u00a0M3x20mm bolts, washers and hex nuts.<\/p>\n

The PSUs are attached using #6-32 5\/16-inch long bolts and washers.<\/p>\n

GPUs are attached to the tray via M4x6 Phillips-head bolts, or for older versions of the tray M3x5 bolts:<\/p>\n

Stacking connectors (threaded dowels) are threaded into the tops of the bottom tray’s posts. \u00a0The top tray is attached to the dowels with M3x8mm bolts and square nuts. Note how the bolt goes through<\/strong> the access hole on the side of the beam, pressing against the threaded dowel.<\/p>\n
